At this meeting, we want to focus on trade structures. Which forms of trade do we recognise today as building social trust and promoting health for people and the environment? What qualities do they bring? What attitudes and structures are needed for trade to develop its social power? In the organic sector in particular, it is becoming apparent that some of the existing forms are no longer viable and that new alliances and new channels of communication should be developed. Have we already sufficiently recognised or even implemented the potential of associative practice? What steps are necessary to achieve a new level of relationship through trade between producers and consumers? With these questions in mind, we want to enter into dialogue and try to inspire each other and develop new perspectives.
