Review

A World Goetheanum Forum full of relationships took place at the Goetheanum on 23/24 September 22. Certainly not only because the conversations "in between" were experienced by many as trusting and essential, but also because the challenges for businesses have increased considerably: it is becoming more apparent that more collaboration is needed among each other in order to co-create the necessary steps of change and to be less shaped by events.

The central theme for this year among the approximately 100 participants was: How can we make business more familiar with the principle of the living?

In order to find answers to this question, we first asked ourselves: What is "aliveness" anyway? From the essence of "aliveness" we quickly come to the conclusion: to use our abilities and what is available in a meaningful way, but not to get into dependencies, that is what brings us to our daily "aliveness". Our assumption is as follows: if we succeed in understanding something of the essence of aliveness, then we also have the means in our hands to regenerate nature and ourselves - also as social beings.

An essential signpost was the idea of guarding the living and turning back to the earth in service - this was the focus of Thomas Rau's keynote.

Some workshops also gave rise to working groups that will continue their work and we are curious to see whether and which impulses the companies represented at the forum will take up.

Our wish as the preparation team: may the participants be able to incorporate the insights gained into their everyday lives! May the impulses enrich the actions of the individual.
