‘Healthy infrastructures’ and an ‘economy of connectedness’ were at the heart of the discussion between the partners. In contrast, the challenge of a lack of ‘pull’ or demand was raised, for example in the organic sector. This area of tension, combined with the question of concrete solutions, continues to accompany us.
During the presentation of the projects, it became clear how these initiatives arise in different ways within the WGA. Someone usually provides the initial impetus, and we then support the process by finding other partners with similar questions. If we manage to formulate a common question and define the next steps, a project is born. Some of these projects have been presented and can be found here (LINK). The project 'Economic Sciences: Education and Research for a Sustainable Economy' is also described below.
It was a meeting of partners for partners: "Meeting people with whom you can start a dialogue, with whom you share fundamental values, and with whom you don't have to start from scratch", said one participant. This corresponds to the experience of many partners who also found their way to the Goetheanum in Dornach this year, helping to shape another piece of the WGA's future together.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, and we look forward to welcoming you at the next partner meeting on 27 September 2026 in Dornach. We are always happy to welcome people who want to join us in addressing the issues at hand and shaping the economy.
